Apply updates safely into an existing harness using the local CLI update workflow:

Whatever happens to a subscription, releases you downloaded and the business data in your own installation stay yours. Course emails and support arrangements are separate from this subscription.
These details appear on your invoices. Changing them applies to future invoices; issued documents stay as they were issued.
Each paid charge has one invoice with its own number, and bespoke work is invoiced the same way. Paid invoices record completed payments and are never requests for payment; an invoice for custom work may show what is due until you have paid it. Whiia invoices are the merchant documents for your subscription and agreed work; invoice management inside the harness is a separate business tool.
